On September 21st, 1986 , in Long Beach California, Brandon Christopher Mathews (DJ B Eazy) was born. Raised in Compton and Los Angeles CA , Brandon knew that he wouldn’t feed into the “Neighborhood Ethics” that awaited a young man growing up in a single parent home. Instilled with values and morals from his mother & motivated by something greater than the cliché of a 9 to 5, music was his ribbon in the sky.Music represents a passion for most but for Brandon it was a culture, cultivated at a young age. Surrounded by influences in his own family ; DJ Yella of the renowned group NWA and Mixmaster Spade, Brandon was inspired to find his niche in the world of music. Introduced to the art of DJ’ing at the age of fourteen from his uncle, Brandon had finally found his career but the music had really found him. The reminiscence of that first moment helped fuel the movement of DJ B Eazy. He was in a trance, mesmerized by the connection that music created between the crowd and the DJ . His ability to identify and connect with his audience , spin multiple genres of music, and creatively mix a musical vibe for his listeners, makes DJ B Eazy an instant favorite.Continuously branding himself by mastering techniques like scratching and harmonic mixing amongst the many methods . Building a reputation came off “easy” , spinning at various clubs throughout southern California and Las Vegas, as well as sharing his beatmatching skills with mixes like the “I Love Soul” which displays his appreciation for R&B and soul music by blending rhythmic patterns , melodic sounds to a tailored mix anyone could love.Whether spinning at private events or clubs, or spending time in the studio DJ B Eazy takes the proactive approach to becoming adept to his craft. Along with the support of others in the industry, and music running through his veins DJ B Eazy will continue to gain momentum in the days ahead.
