Some athletes want to increase the immediate effect of oxygen

DOPING.
What is blood doping?
What sports does it occur in?
The rewards for winning can be great in sport. Some athletes are tempted to cheat in order to win. This undermines the integrity of the sport and so the Governing Bodies have drug testing policies to try to keep their sport ‘clean’
