We are delighted that our District Director was recognized at the International Convention, Hall of Fame event for achieving excellence as the Program Quality Director for the 2020-21 TMI year.
The Toastmasters International Accredited Speaker Program is designed for professional
speakers who combine expert knowledge in a particular subject with mastery of the spoken
word, making them sought-after experts in their respective fields.

Polish Your Basics!!
A new and improved Level 1 is coming!
Level 1 is the foundation of Pathways, and we wanted to ensure that it provided a strong
foundation for all new members as they embark on their Toastmasters journey.
The “Evaluation and Feedback” project and the “Ice Breaker,” a beloved Toastmasters tradition, will be joined by two new projects to make up Level 1.
The brand additions to the Pathways Level 1 are;
1. Writing a Speech with Purpose2. Introduction to Vocal Variety and Body Language
These new projects will teach basic public speaking skills, should help new members feel
less overwhelmed and provide building blocks to expand on as they progress through their
path.
“Researching and Presenting,” a project previously found in Level 1, will be repurposed as an elective in Level 3 of Pathways.
Please note that the new Level 1 will only be available in paths selected after the launch of
these new projects.
Paths in progress or already completed will continue with the current Level 1 projects.

An exclusive session on the Member and Club Awards for the year 2021-22 was held on the 20th of August, 2021. The PQD, the CGD, and the PRM formally introduced the various award categories, as well as the submission procedure and associated rewards. It was then followed by a "Face to Face" question and answer session.

The golden advice of the World Champion of
Public Speaking 2005, Lance Miller, to
aspiring Public Speaking champions around
the globe is encapsulated in 3 steps as:

3. Share how YOU applied it in your life
Verity Price captured the essence of it and
won the District 74 International Public Speaki
ng Championship in May this year. She
opened her heart on the moment of glory
in one of her interviews. Sentences of wisdom
started flowing like a stream…
“My advice is to trust that your life is full of simple yet profound moments that carry powerful messages in them. Pay attention to the stories you often share with people and see if there’s one that you can really enjoy taking on this journey. And… don’t try and do it alone! Work with mentors who’ve walked the contest path. Watch past winners and notice the common things they do that make the difference.”
Verity Price meant what she said, and she went on to become the World Champion of Public speaking for the year 2021 with her spectacular speech “The Great Read.”
It is her constant hard work, dedication and
practice that helped her reach the pinnacle
of Toastmasters Public Speaking journey on
the 28th of August 2021.

A picture speaks a thousand words. We received as many as 188
submissions for the award. With too many outstanding creations
and remarkable concepts, our judges had a hard time trying to
narrow down to 5 entries that both met the requirements and
create an impact. We'd like to take this opportunity to appreciate
