FACULTYTara Cindy Sherman received her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 1993 and has been teaching yoga ever since. That same year she was initiated into the tantric form of meditation known as Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda. Since that time she has trained or been certified in: DansKinetics from Kirpalu Center, Atma Yoga from Christopher Baxter, Ashtanga with Doug Swenson in, Yoga of the Heart Cardiac & Cancer with Nischala Devi, JAI Prenatal with Jennifer Gray, Yin yoga with Paulie Zink, Yogic Mystery School and trip to India with Russill Paul studying Nada yoga, Viniyoga with Gary Kraftsow, and Sally Kempton at Mt. Madonna. She feels it both an honor and blessing to help train teachers in this ancient art and science so that the full wisdom of yoga is passed on.

Dr. Asavari Manvikar is a classically trained Ayurveda doctor, who has a deep affection for Ayurveda. She is one of the leading Ayurveda experts in the Twin Cities. Asavari is a very passionate educator and has been organizing regular workshops on various topics of Ayurveda and yoga to increase awareness regarding the holistic approach to health and wellness. She has been practicing yoga and Ayurveda for more than 15 yrs. She earned her Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree in 1997, and Master’s in Kayachikitsa (Ayurveda Medicine) in 2000 from the University of Pune, India. In 2001, she was awarded a Gold Medal for her scholarly thesis work by the Institute of Indian Medicine. She served as a Doctor of Ayurveda Medicine, Faculty Member, at the BSDT’s Ayurveda Institute, Wagholi, Pune (from 2001-2003. In 2011 she developed and started teaching the graduate level course CSPH 5343 ‘Ayurveda, The Science of Self-healing’, at the Center for Spirituality and Healing, University of Minnesota. Asavari is a professional member of AAPNA, ‘Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America’. She serves as a Vice-president for ‘Minnesota Ayurveda Association’. She serves on the advisory board of the Hindu Community Center. Her passion is to educate students on how to create balance to achieve health and wellness.

• $4,500 paying in-full• $4,800 payment plan (12 consecutive monthly payments of $350 plus $600 deposit)
