Prior to the convention, we joined forces with Woodcreek High School Key Club and spent time making spirit sticks, tutus, and posters. 11 members of Roseville High School Key Club went on an eight hour journey with other Divison 44 North Key Clubs from Northern California all the way to Anaheim. There, we saw just how many different clubs and divisions there were just in the CNH region! This event showed us just how big of a difference Key Club makes and how exciting it is to be a part of it. We all bonded and came closer together as a club. Our members took away many new ideas for our club and a newfound sense of inspiration for helping our community.

DCON 2015

This year, Cali-Nev-Ha Key Club held its 69th annual District Convention at Anaheim,

California. Prior to the convention, we joined forces with Woodcreek High School Key

Club and spent time making spirit sticks, tutus, and posters. 11 members of Roseville

High School Key Club went on an eight hour journey with other Divison 44 North Key

Clubs from Northern California all the way to Anaheim. There, we saw just how many

different clubs and divisions there were just in the CNH region! This event showed us

just how big of a difference Key Club makes and how exciting it is to be a part of it.

We all bonded and came closer together as a club. Our members took away many

new ideas for our club and a newfound sense of inspiration for helping our community.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday March 28, the Nevada Union Key Club hosted an Easter egg hunt on the field at Nevada Union High School. Four members showed up at the event. There were two separate Easter egg hunts: one for children three and under and one for children four and older. The Easter eggs were packed at the Key Club meeting on the Tuesday before the event. About 25 children were at the Easter Egg hunt. The president of Key Club dressed up as the Easter bunny and cookies, carrots, brownies, and rice Krispy treats were sold at the event. The club raised $134 for a local organization, Kare Crisis Nursery.

Fruitvale school clean up

On  April  11th,  Lincoln  High  School  Key  Clubbers  helped  clean  and  re-‐vamp  the  125  year  old  Fruitvale  School.  Alongside  a  young  troop  of  Cub  Scouts  and  many  volunteers  from  Kiwanis,  we  cleaned  the  school  from  inside  and  out.  We  completed  small  tasks  such  as  cleaning  the  windows,  sanding  down  old  benches  and  helped  clean  the  floors  and  window  blinds.  After  hours  of  hard  work,  everyone  took  a  nice  lunch  break  and  had  a  barbeque.  We  all  had  a  great  time  working  with  everyone  and  being  of  service  to  our  community.  Thank  you  to  all  the  volunteers  for  all  your  hard  work  and  for  the  delicious  BBQ!
