3. Our PortPayables® and VendorDirect® Services provide a platform for more compliant transactions and efficient financial management. Using the combined volume of our customer base, our Financial Services Department negotiates with banking service providers, allowing you to pay in multiple currencies with highly competitive forex rates and zero- to-minimal service charges. Your payments are trackable and benchmarked against an independent source. You can also mitigate costs with DA-Compliance®, our sanctions- compliance system powered by Dow Jones. This system automatically screens vendors, agents and transactions covering all major regulatory regimes. Lastly, our PortPayables Financial Dashboard provides you with key data to help manage your working capital cycle, and streamlines reports from a daily reconciled agent ledger to a funding cycle report from disparate data that would otherwise be difficult to collate, reconcile and produce.

Our clients enjoy hard savings – from PortPayables® banking-related savings, to discounted rate agreements from PortsDirect®, to credit notes and cost reductions we uncover. We engage Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to audit our Quality Management System (QMS) for ISO 9001:2008 certification bi-annually. Deloitte audits our process controls annually under the ISAE 3402 international standard issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). All of our data centers are in Europe, so your data is protected under stringent data security laws.

6. We provide a 24/7-supported, VMS integrated, web-based system with multiple functionalities. These constantly upgraded features allow you to adopt standardised processes across multiple offices and leverage our Decision Support tools such as the PortPayables Financial Dashboard, DA-KPI and PortPoint data services. The DA-Desk System allows online data storage and retrieval, so you don’t have to develop, install and maintain any software.

Introducing our range of world-class port cost management services

When subscribing to our port cost management services, you’ll be assisted by a team of dedicated DA-Desk professionals who will assist you from port call creation to voyage closing. Each stage of this process features improved efficiency, cost control and regulatory compliance.

All your decision-making activities are centralised in our DA-Desk System. You get complete control over your DAs andcontracts, and a single sign-in gives seamless access to different applications. Our solutions are entirely web based, so there’s no needto download or install any software. In addition, there are no maintenance or training fees when integrating DA-Desk into your company’s workflow.

PortSpend Management℠

All your labour-intensive tasks can be automated and managed with PortSpend Management. Cost verification, documentation, rebilling and agent follow- ups can now be executed effortlessly. Allthe information required for decision making is centralized for convenience and our in- house team manages your instructions and communication low to the letter.

The PortSpend Management process includes DA-Nomination℠, DA-Proforma℠, DA-Final℠ and DA-Rebilling℠.

PortPayables®

Our unique cash management service helps you find the best exchange rates and banking terms available. Approximately $4 billion is facilitated in multiple currencies through this service with our global banking partners. This centralized service gives exclusive access to special exchange rates and banking terms.

All tasks related to payment, transfers, confirmation, netting, accounting, credit collection and reconciliation are managed through the PortPayables process. It includes DA-Accounts℠, DA-Forex℠, DA-Cashflow℠ and DA-Compliance®.

DA-Integration™

Integrate your VMS with the DA-Desk System, to avoid manual and repetitive data entry tasks, staying up-to-date with all aspects of the port call and for additional security.

All agents receive automated notifications about cancelled port calls and changes to ETA, thus improving the processing of payments. By integrating with DA-Desk, your VMS will also receive real-time system updates.

DA-Recovery™

Our research data suggests around 30% of port calls are overfunded. The frequency of your work with an agent has a direct relationship with overfunding. The more the frequency of work with an agent, the lessOverfunding (and vice versa). Most agents do not net this overfunding in a future port call which aggravates the situation.

At DA-Desk, we handle over 140,000 port calls every year, and are in continuous contact with over 8,000 agents and suppliers across the globe. These counterparties already know our dedicated DA-Recovery team who understand how to achieve results without escalating issues.
