OLLI is an affiliated program of the Uni-versity of Minnesota College of Continuing Education.

ROUSSEAU’S “EMILE”Rousseau’s “Emile” is a primary modern account of the edu-cation of the human soul. After receiving a law degree from the U of M in 1978, he practiced family law until his retirement in 2011. Limited space for Crystal residents or Crystal Friendship Cen-ter members. HUDSON VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS Kick off the Holiday season with lunch at the historic Lake Elmo Inn and a tour of the his-toric Octagon House in Hudson, WI. The house shines with traditional Victorian Christmas decorations and furnish-ings. The Octagon house, built for Judge John Shaw Mof-fat and his wife, is a find example of the novel eight-sided dwelling popular in America in the mid-1800’s. Such a house was considered conducive to healthy living as light and air could enter from eight directions. In addition to the gracious restored home visit the carriage house and the museum gift shop. The Lake Elmo Inn Holiday buffet menu includes two feature entrees, a variety of salads and fruit, sautéed vegetables, special starch, fresh dinner rolls, award winning mini-desserts, coffee, and tea.
