Lunch & Learn

Attention students:

An admissions representative from Jacksonville State University will be having a Lunch & learn on Tuesday September 08, 2015, in room F-118 @ 9AM.  To attend this event, please register through Edmodo in the Student Opportunities group, which is located in the “Lunch & Learn” folder. Space is limited.

Attention students:

Tuskegee University of is having a fall open house bus trip on Saturday September 19, 2015, between the hours of 7am-8:30pm. Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members and student leaders who will provide information on admissions, scholarships, financial aid and also attend a football game. For more information please see Mrs. Burrell at the Office of Student Services.

FALL PROBE TOUR

The annual Probe Tour program of college fairs and workshops will begin during the last week in August.

Approximately 300 colleges from across the nation attend the tour where you can learn more about post-secondary options after high school.

Probe is a resource to connect you with the right school to meet your individual needs and career goals.

8:00 - 9:20 am 1st period

9:25 - 10:45 am 2nd period

10:50 - 12:50 pm 3rd period

12:10 - 12:50 pm Lunch

12:55 – 2:15 pm 4th period

Credit Recovery 2:25-3:15 (M-TH)

Enrichment 2:20-3:20 (W)

Reminders

• Class attendance is required. Students will be withdrawn from class after three (3) absences.

• Punctuality is required. A Disciplinary Referral will be submitted on the 4th tardy.

• Students are responsible for their own conduct. Any student who violates the Discipline Code of Conduct is subject to administrative withdrawal.

• Once students arrive on campus, they stay on campus until their last class.

• If you have to leave campus for any reason, you must check out in the main office.

• No leaving campus to get lunch.

Dress For Success

Students CANNOT wear clothing that is……

• too tight, too short, or too revealing.

• endorses or advertises the use of tobacco products, alcohol, gang activity or drugs.

• communicates or promotes racism, sexism or is deemed offensive or obscene by the administration.

In ADDITION……

• hats or any type of headgear is not permitted.

• shower shoes, bedroom slippers, or “footies” are not permitted.

Teen night at the Woodruff

Thousands of Teens takeover the Woodruff Arts Center for this one evening of the year.

The Event is FREE!!

Entertainment includes a DJ spinning, a live slam poetry performance and a Teen Lounge & Snacks.
