tified as Des Raj (78) son of late
Lal Chand, a resident of Sarrora,
who was missing since last night
after he left his house to feed his
cattle which was tied at some
distance from his house, was
found this morning from a mini-
canal near his residence.
He said no injury mark was
found on the body of the
deceased, which was handed
over to his legal heirs for last

registered at police station
Domana and further investiga-
tions started.
Plea to DyCMThe attention of the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh is
drawn towards the plight of people of villages Gol, Nandini,Trilokpur, Raipur Jagir, Saari and Pouni Chak.
These five villages are located just 5 kms from Jewel Chowkand 2 Kms from 4th bridge. But due to callous attitude of theJammu Development Authorities (JDA) the entrance to these vil-lages was blocked in May 2014 on the pretext that some people
had encroached JDA land. But irony of the situation is that thosewho had grabbed the land have road connectivity while the origi-nal residents of these village have been denied the same.
As much we face tremendous hardships in reaching the
respective villages. We have brought the matter in the notice of
the concerned authorities a number of times but no action has
been taken in this regard so far.
The condition of the roads in the vicinity is so bad that these
have becomes traffic unworthy.
We hope the Deputy Chief Minister would take cognizance of
the matter at the earliest.

Cleaning of Patta Bohri nallahThis is to draw the attention of the Commissioner JMC
towards the condition of blocked nallah in the Patta Bohri areafrom Patta Bohri Chowk to Radha Soami Ashram. This nallahwas constructed by GREF while constructing the road about 15
years back. Since then this nallah has never been cleaned and nowthe condition is that after a little bit of rain, the rain water insteadof running into the nallah starts entering the shops and houses oflocal inhabitants..
Therefore, it is urged that the cleaning of nallah be done atpriority basis to give a sigh of relief to the residents.

Encroachments in Trikuta NagarJammu Municipal Corporation has not undertaken any drive
to remove encroachments made in shape of 10-15 feet long ramps
covering substantial part of main roads and sub-lanes in last 4
years in newly constructed colonies especially Trikuta Nagar.
Municipal Act has become a piece of paper and is being com-
pletely ignored by the Enforcement wing of the Corporation
resulting in rampant corruption. The drains have been construct-
ed in complete violation of drainage plan leading to dead ends and
left unrepaired causing damage to neighbouring houses . Time to
time representations made by the residents of sector 4, 5 & 6 of
Trikuta Nagar to the authorities of JMC have been ignored. There
is a urgent need to remove the illegal encroachments of public
land especially in sector 4-5-6 in Trikuta Nagar and JMC should
immediately take necessary action to remove illegal encroach-
ments and provide relief to the law abiding citizen residing in
Trikuta Nagar Colony Jammu.

Dab Narayanbagh faces flood threatThe bank of river Sind at village Rabitar has not been plugged
till date and people of the adjacent areas are very much scared of
the existing situation.
The Government has released 5 lakh for construction of R
wall and 2.50 lakh for mud filling but it is unfortunate that on
ground situation is quite different.
People of the Dab and its adjacent areas are in a great threat if
water level of the river Sindh increases. The matter has been
brought in the notice of the concerned AEE Flood Department. In
case concrete steps are not taken at the earliest, people will be
forced to take agitational path.

Kalakote-Siot road in bad conditionThe apathetic attitude of the concerned authorities towards
people of Kalakote is visible from the bad condition of Kalakote-
Jammu-Poonch national highway. The road is in such a condition
that a vehicle can attain a speed of 15-20 km/hr at the most.
People seeking emergency services in Jammu may die even
before reaching Siot where the highway begins. The road has only
potholes and nothing else. Worst condition of this road continues
for the last one decade.
