All Day Red Square and UCLook for signs in Red Square with facts about hunger and
homelessness. We will also be tabling in the UC for the weeks events.
Tuesday
8:30-10:30pm Xavier 201Movie night! Take a study break to come watch Pursuit of Happyness,
a movie about one mans experiences with homelessness. Snacks are
on us!
Wednesday
11:30am-1:00pm UC Gray Area outside of
the Commons
Learn about hunger by participating in Campus Ministrys Feast or
Famine Lunch!
Wednesday
5:30pm UC Regency RoomHunger and Homelessness Awareness Panel! Listen to faculty,
students, and community members discuss the issue of hunger and
homelessness in the Tacoma area.
Thursday
4:30-6:30pm Olson Field HouseChildren of the Nations meal packaging event sponsored by Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans. Sign up for a half hour shift in the Volunteer
Center or by stopping at our table in the UC on Monday!
Friday
5:30-7:00pm Trinity Lutheran ChurchJoin us for the Community Dinner at Trinity Lutheran Church, just
across the street! Sign up to help set up and serve for the event or just
attend and meet members of your surrounding community!
