    Dakar 2013: no rest for the wearyThe Dakars drivers and teams will have to tackle a new level o difculties. They will be aced with the

    dunes o Peru in the very frst days o the race, and will initially be under pressure until San Miguel de

    Tucumn, where they will be granted a much deserved rest day ater eight stages. As soon as the rally

    resumes, their endurance will be evaluated on the Dakars longest stage, then a new desert sequence

    will ollow extending over three stages, where the standings may be called into question at all times.

    Key:

    Link stage: a route that mostly follows the road network which the competitors must take to reach the start of the special stage, orthe bivuac nce the special has been cmpleted.

    SS: selective section, also known as a special. This is the portion of the stage during which the vehicles enrolled in the race are timed.
