Daley Mathison is a 24-year old with a difference.

Twelve years ago Daley started his career in Motorcycle Racing, quickly gaining respect and attention from his peers and officials alike as an up-and-coming star of the future - aged just 12!

Now, following very successful seasons in 2014 and 2015, Daley is looking forward to even greater achievements in 2016.

Daley has a mature, dedicated and professional approach to his racing and to his Marketing Partners, who are guaranteed a very supportive, responsive and respectful relationship in return for their investment in the team. DALEY MATHISON RACING From his beginnings in Junior Championships at

local club level, Daley now rides competitively in

International and National Road Race meetings in

Europe, Northern Ireland, England, Wales and the

Isle of Man.

A dedicated and naturally-talented rider, in 2010

Daley moved to Northern Ireland at the age of

eighteen for two full seasons. Following many

excellent rides he was awarded the “Best Non-

Irish Performance on the Irish Roads Series”

trophy by the Two Stroke Supporter’s Club.

In his first race on the Isle of Man Mountain Course in the

2013 Manx Grand Prix Daley finished 5th in the Newcomer’s

A race. Then in 2014 he made his debut at the world-

famous TT, achieving best lap times in excess of 120mph

and winning 2 bronze replicas. Some quite excellent rides

followed and Daley won the 2014 Ultra Lightweight Race at

the International Ulster Grand Prix and came 6th and 7th in

the Superbike (beating 8-times TT winner Ian Hutchinson!)

and the Supersport races respectively at the same meeting.

And in July 2014 Daley was very proud to win the Welsh

Open Championship at Aberdare Park.

2015 saw Daley’s progress and achievements continue

when he won the European MotoE Championship for

electric motorcycles, dominating the series and breaking the

lap record for electric bikes at each circuit in the series.

DALEY MATHISON RACING 2016 Season So Far

2016 commenced with testing in Jerez before the team

travelled to Darley Moor for additional pre-season testing

and their first race weekend. Daley participated in the 2

day event, securing a personal best time of 54.64

seconds (which was the fastest lap of the day and only 2

seconds off the current lap record). Daley pushed his

Superbike to victory in 2 races, with 2 x 2nd places and

another 1st place which was on a 125 bike that he rode

on behalf of Brian Scott.

The team then headed to Scarborough, where Daley has

raced from the age of 15, so he is well known to the staff

and fans and he certainly likes to put on a show for them

at what he considers, his home track. Daley didn’t

disappoint, putting his 600 on the top step with an

impressive 1st place in the first race of the day

(Supersport Race 1), before crossing the line in 2nd, in

the first Senior Race, having been pipped to the post on

the final lap. Certainly a great start to the Road Racing

Season.

The team have since visited Portimao in Portugal for

some additional testing head of the main event of the

season, the Isle of Man TT.

2014

• Winner of the Ultra Lightweight Race at the International

Ulster Grand Prix.

• Winner of the Welsh Open Championship.

• 6th place finish in the Superbike Race and 7th place finish in the

Supersport Race at the International Ulster Grand Prix.

• 35th & 41st place finishes in the TT Supersport Races – 2 Bronze

Replicas awarded. Fastest lap speed of 120+mph.

• 5 race wins; 8 second places; 8 third places; 5 fourth places.

2013

• 3rd place at the Cookstown 100 (Superbike Open B Race).

• 5th place at Scarborough’s Cock o’the North (the ‘feature’ race).

• 4th place at Armoy (Moto3 Race).

• 5th place at the Manx Grand Prix (Newcomer’s A Race).

• 2nd place at Darley Moor’s ‘Stars at Darley’ (Formula 600 Race).

2015

• Winner of the European MotoE Championship for electric

motorcycles (with the University of Nottingham).

• Qualified in pole position in 7 races at Scarborough

• 9th place in the Superbike race at the Ulster Grand Prix.

• 11 race wins; 4 second places; 3rd places; 5 fourth places.
