A steep, undeveloped trail leads from the access point to the Pool. Bank fishing, upland bird and waterfowl hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities exist. Cherry Creek Sportsman Access provides parking for walk-in access to IPC Lands across the road to the North along the Powder River and Pool. Access to BLM lands South on Daly Creek Road as well. Bank fishing, waterfowl hunting and wildlife viewing. BLM Sportsman Access requires a 4WD or ATV to navigate the rough road that accesses the federal land 1.2 miles to the East. Upland bird and big-game hunting and antler collecting are allowed on BLM land only.
