Management of the disease1. Thin sowing of seed2. Light soil3. Nursery bed should be raised4. Well drainage5. Steam sterilization of the soil6. Soil solarization- for 40-60 days with 300-

400 gauze polithene7. Seed treatment with

• Thiram -2.5 gm/kg seed • Captan – 2.5 gm/kg seed

• Apron – 4 gm/kg seed

8. Soil sterilization –(i). Formalin dust 15 parts formalin + 85 parts charcoal

@100gm/sq. M Mix. – 3-4 inch in soil (ii). Thiram, Copper oxychloride

9. Spraying- (i). Ridomil- 1 gm/litre (ii). Blitox- 50- 2.5 gm/litre (iii). Difolatan- 2 gm/litre

(iv). Captan, Dithane Z- 78, Thiram-2-3 gm/litre
