Wireframes and Visual Design
archivedThe Media Portal was an iLab experiment to see how customers would react to reading about D&B generated content. This would be the center for business insight shared through various media: Infographics, videos, podcasts, annual reports, and so on.I developed the wireframes and visual design for this concept as well as oversaw QA and implementation on the CQ5 CMS.

Data Visualization
archivedImagine making a vast database of various types of information so easy to read, that an eight year old and an eighty year old can understand what they are reading. This was the driving influence with Quick Insights. D&B’s database is very powerful but very complicated. We set out to make data visualizations

Prototype: http://ejp5ae.axshare.com/Home.htmlThe Business Information Report is a product that D&B offers in every country for a quick one off report of a company. It includes financial information, company history, payment info, it is really dense dry info. So how could we make it better?
I took two approaches to this, one being just a re-skin of the BIR, and one being an in depth customer research of how the ifnormation is read versus displayed.

Implemented into DNBiCustomers always asked, “Why can’t we search for companies by FEIN?”That is a great question, so I was given the opportunity to own my own project as Product Manager to experiment. We succesfully developed a back end service that would match DUNS#s with FEIN#s and Company names. Research, testing, design, and production took only 4 weeks. For a ten year old issue that was never fixed, the COO loved it and had it implemented into DNBi, the flagship $400 million a year D&B product.
I conducted the research, design (wireframes andresponsive html/css), front end development, and product managment myself.

Prototype: http://uk4c12.axshare.com/When Will I Get Paid was the first D&B app to be released on the Apple App Store. This project Started out in our App Jam, where we took an idea and developed it from brainstorm to prototype in 24 hours! A re-assesment of the project meant toning it down and making it more appropriate for the customer market. The Design was finalized by me and although it is very user friendly and readable, This was a great learning experience trying to balance the influences of opposing owners.
