“My biggest passion is the connection, interaction with the people around me.

Is observing this social competence that more makes me evolve and become a

better human being. To notice how my passion may intervene in the design and

in the "my design" stimulates my creative thinking and process, conceptual and

functional.”

Page 9: Daniel Pera design 2.0

The Diva is born from the need to complement the personal space of Antarte female target. A dynamic, sophisticated woman, active and selective, seeking

her shrine, the moment when she meets with herself and with her secrets. Is designed for the female public identified as a glamorous being, the woman

who cares about her image and how it can affect their relationship with the society.

The typology of this concept, being the combination of a high mobile and a mirror standing, fits the frenetic everyday life of a modern woman.

Adjusted to current everyday life of women and to the immediacy with which begins the day, the presented project is an extension of their attitude. The

moment the woman does her makeup is honored by Diva who faces the day with a visceral and glamorous attitude.

Erus is the ideal suspension lamp for bars and restaurants. All the formal con-cept of product is strongly connected to the bicolor visual effect of the piece,

feature that gives it elegance and subtlety, merged with the combination of several colors, raises curiosity and interest of the observer. The presentation of this product in various diameters and dimensions, gives it the technical exper-tise needed to get involved in space and in itself, whether through their plastic

language or formal possible compositions between pieces.

Minimalist, simple and small wall mounted luminaire. This lamp is technically characterized by its low energy consumption using LED technology as a source

of enlightenment. These findings emphasize the transformation of this luminary in its two distinct

phases. The luminaire live alone as a product, through its elegance and fee-lings of serenity and curiosity raised to the observer. The second phase of the

product rises by the projection of the relationship/conflict between light and shadow, eliminating all his formal concept from the first moment to find some-

thing more abstract.

formal presence as a product and enhance the surrounding space through the projection of light.

This product was designed for fluorescent and LED light.

HBLSuspended luminaire . Industrial appliationPhotos by Mia Lavernne in Climar, Águeda

Page 43: Daniel Pera design 2.0

The luminaire HBL arises in industrial environment and for an industrial applica-tion, associates technical and conceptually these two strands that interact har-moniously in which we can consider a product highly functional, efficient, eye--

catching and designed for the concept of a modern design, clear and objec-tive. The lines that define this luminaire are organized in a logical way and with

a concern to soften his industrial component by a morphological language indi-cated by clear organic lines, assumed and intentional. This formal competence allies entirely to his primary functional component, creating a clearly successful

symbiosis between form and function.

The inspiration for the DISCOVER concept was the sea voyages and expeditions made by the Portuguese in the past. Thus, we can find in this concept typical elements of the Portuguese

heritage, combined with our link to the seas (such as the wood stripes from the ships) and also the color palette from the Portuguese landscapes. This color scheme balances with the

illumination in such a way that it defines a whole formal language. So, there are three areas to be highlighted: the turning chairs, the private compartments and

the common space. Aiming to a global design solution, here was designed different spaces for different people. An image to our culture.

EcoLight privileges are for difference and innovation, combined with a modern and rugged design, opposing its city connotation with sustainable and ecological con-cerns. EcoLight product is an energy-independent and requires no maintenance.

Following technical and formal characteristics, EcoLight favors energy and sustaina-bility aspects, ie, before considering formal concepts in their styling, poses another concern for the application of new technologies, in this case the connection of the system LEDs with photovoltaic panels and worries with energy efficiency and envi-

ronmental issues.Ecolight, the lighting of the urban future.
