LA ORQUESTA IMPOSIBLE

Vivimos t iempos de transición y cambio. La pandemia del Covid-19 ha tenido un gran impacto alrededor del mundo. Las medidas de aislamiento y distancia, aunque necesar ias, nos hacen sent i r más div id idos, so los, y separados de los otros. En México, esta crisis ha afectado par t icu larmente a mujeres y n iños, dado que son los más vu lnerab les a los e fectos soc ia les, san i ta r ios y económicos de la pandemia.

Ante este panorama, era impor tante hacer a lgo para mejorar la situación de aquellos que son más perjudicados. Como mexicana, mujer y directora de orquesta, Alondra de la Parra estaba convencida de que debía hacer algo, y la mejor manera de ayudar es a través de la música. Por eso lanzó uno de los proyectos más ambiciosos de la música clásica contemporánea.

Así como es imposible imaginar que un solo equipo de fútbol reuniera a los mejores 11 ta lentos del mundo, era impos ib le pensar que una orquesta pod ía reun i r

a los mejores sol is tas del mundo. En e l ámbi to de la música, cada sol ista ha trabajado para ser el centro de una orquesta sinfónica, y cada orquesta intenta atraer a uno de los mejores.

Por este motivo, imaginar una orquesta compuesta de los mejores sol istas no parecía posible... hasta ahora.

En un mundo donde nada parece pos ib le ; ver a tus amistades, reuni r te con tus seres quer idos, hacer tu vida normal, lo único que queda es hacer lo imposible. Alondra de la Parra ha reunido a algunos de los mejores sol istas del mundo para formar La Orquesta Imposible y tocar una de las piezas más impor tantes de la música mexicana, el Danzón No. 2 de Ar turo Márquez.

La música es acompañada por la bailarina Elisa Carrillo con una coreografía especialmente creada para este evento por e l renombrado coreógrafo Cr is topher Wheeldon. E l Danzón No. 2 fue la p ieza de música c lás ica más

interpretada en todo el mundo en 2019, y fue reinventada por Márquez y A londra de la Parra para esta ocasión especial.

Se t ra t a de una ocas ión en l a que mús icos de 14 nacional idades dist intas se han unido en La Orquesta Imposib le con un so lo objet ivo: apoyar a los n iños y mujeres de México afectados por la s i tuación actual . Deb ido a la c r is is de l Cov id-19, es tos mús icos han grabado su música de manera independiente, mostrando que incluso en la distancia se puede crear música a partir de la colaboración, la creatividad y el talento.

La Orquesta Imposible nació de la convicción de que la música t iene el poder de unirnos. Sin importar nuestros orígenes, nuestras nacionalidades o nuestras diferencias, la música crea un lenguaje universal de esperanza en estos t iempos dif íci les.

Música de México para el mundo; ayuda del mundo para México.

La Orquesta Imposible nos muestra que en la música, como en todos los aspectos de la sociedad, debemos transformar los viejos modelos y conseguir lo que nunca se había hecho antes.¡La música nos mueve!

ARTURO MÁRQUEZ Y EL DANZÓN NO. 2

Arturo Márquez es uno de los compositores mexicanos contemporáneos más célebres y reconocidos. Su obra combina de manera mag is t ra l la mús ica c lás ica con ritmos tradicionales de México, América Latina y Áfr ica.

E l Danzón No. 2 , l a más cé leb re de l as nueve que l levan ese nombre y estrenada en 1994, se convi r t ió ráp idamente en la s in fon ía mexicana por excelencia. En el la dia logan de manera armoniosa la música para orquesta con el baile de salón mexicano y otras melodías populares lat inoamer icanas. En 2019 fue la p ieza de música clásica más interpretada a nivel mundial.

LA DIRECTORA DE ORQUESTA ALONDRA DE LA PARRA HA GANADO GRAN ADMIRACIÓN DEL PÚBLICO POR SUS VIBRANTES INTERPRETACIONES MUSICALES, COLOCÁNDOSE COMO UNA DE LAS DIRECTORAS MÁS SOBRESALIENTES DE SU GENERACIÓN. FUE LA PRIMERA MUJER MEXICANA EN DIRIGIR EN MAS DE 100 ORQUESTAS EN 25 PAÍSES Y ES EMBAJADORA CULTURAL OFIC IAL DE MÉXICO.

FRECUENTEMENTE, INV ITADA COMO DIRECTORA HUÉSPED, ALONDRA HA DIR IG IDO A LAS MÁS PRESTIGIOSAS ORQUESTAS DE FRANCIA, ALEMANIA, ESTADOS UNIDOS, JAPÓN, BRASIL, SUECIA, RUSIA Y AUSTRIA INCLUYENDO A LA ORQUESTA DE PARÍS, LA ORQUESTA F ILARMÓNICA DE LONDRES, LA ORQUESTA S INFÓNICA DEL RAD IO DE BERLÍN, LA CAMERIST I DELLA SCALA DE MILÁN Y RECIENTEMENTE EN SU DEBUT CON LA ÓPERA DEL ESTADO DE BERL ÍN, CON EL ROYAL OPERA HOUSE Y CON LA ORQUESTA S INFÓNICA DE LA RADIO DE V IENA.

EN 2017 FUE GALARDONADA CON EL SPORTS EMMY AWARD EN LA CATEGORÍA “MEJOR DIRECCIÓN MUSICAL” POR LA SUITE ORQUESTAL DE LOS JUEGOS OLÍMPICOS. EN 2019 FUE INVITADA POR EL MEXICANO ROLANDO VILLAZÓN A DIRIGIR LA ÓPERA, T.H.A.M.O.S REY DE EGIPTO , EN LA MOZARTWOCHE EN AUSTRIA CON EL PRESTIGIOSO CARLUS PADR ISA Y LA FURA DELS BAUS. EN 2019 TERMINÓ SU C ICLO COMO D IRECTORA MUSICAL DE LA QUEENSLAND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA EN AUSTRALIA. ACTUALMENTE ESTÁ V IV IENDO EN BERL ÍN, ALEMANIA DERIVADO DE SUS PRÓXIMOS CONCIERTOS Y PROYECTOS EN EUROPA.

That is why she has launched one o f the most ambi t ious pro jects in contemporar y c lass ica l mus ic .

An occas ion in which music ians f rom 14 nat iona l i t ies jo in the Imposs ib le Orchest ra wi th a s ing le object ive: to suppor t the chi ldren and women of Mexico af fected by the current s i tuat ion. Due to the Covid cr is is, these mus ic ians have recorded the i r mus ic independent ly, showing that even in d is tance, music can be created th rough co l labora t ion, c reat iv i t y and ta lent .
