The DevelopmentDargavel Village is now an established location and extension to the village of Bishopton. The total site extends to 2,761 acres and the core development area is over 500 acres. This has planning consent for 2,600 homes, circa 50,000 sq ft or retail space and circa 1.6 million sq ft of business space.
The primary infrastructure has been completed with distributor roads entering the site from the north and south. The southern access will link with the new M8 junction 29A in 2018.
The remediation of plots is ongoing and the phased release programme is as follows:

• E2 – 28.74 acres Between 2018 and 2021
• E3 – 36.15 acres Between 2018 and 2021
It is possible to combine or extend the plots to accommodate a large single user and it may be possible to accelerate delivery.
