Therearepetroglyphsothispanelbelowthehorizontalredline.Theyarealmostinvisibletoseefromtheground,evenwithgoodbinoculars.
HorseshoeGalleryTheimagesinthisgallerywereofmixedagesandquality.Ourrangerguidementionedthatthefigureshapeswerenotconsistentwiththeotherbarriercanyonstyleglyphsinthecanyon.
Thishuntingsceneishistoric,perhapsevenmodernjudgingbytheshapeofthebow.

TheGreatGalleryThefiguresinthegreatgalleryareallArchaic/Barriercanyonstyle.Thispanelhasbeenextensivelystudied.Geologistshavejudgedwallfacetobe4000to5000yearsold.Archaeologists,usingaChem-illumenessence(sp?)techniquehavejudgedtheageofthepictographstobegreaterthan1000yearsold.Thereforethebestestimateisthattherockartwasmadebetween1000and4000to5000yearsago.
