Station definition of Data Governance:“Data Governance is the process by which Station will

manage the latency, quality, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, and security of its data.

Data Governance can only be implemented through an integrated team of Information Technology and Business representatives from both Corporate and Property Operations.”

Success Relies Heavily on Senior Management Support

The Task is easier with Senior Management support and commitment.

Mission:“To develop a set of processes and

organizational structure to ensure that authority to manage data is properly delegated from the senior-most levels of Station to the appropriate parties, and that such parties are held accountable for executing governance policies and procedures. Ultimately, Station will have data that supports any need arising on which to base Business Decisions…”

In Conclusion We began with an average of 500 error per

property Now we average 15 errors per large property

and 1 sometimes 2 for small properties Data Governance has been a great success at

Stations!! And YES we are still make changes!
