ACCUSED ARRESTED & RECOVERY
1. Nasir age 30 years S/o Fauzam R/o Vill. Nanak Nangli, PS Kanth, Distt. Jy-otiba Phule Nagar, U.P –Recovered one Maruti Swift car.
2. Faiyyaz age 31 years S/o Nabi Hussain R/o Mohalla, Banphool Pura, Gali No. 8, Haldwani, Nainital, Uttaranchal–Recovered one Maruti Alto car.
3. Mohd. Mursleen (receiver) age 33 years S/o Sirazudeen R/o Mandir Wali Gali, Rasheed Nagar, Meerut, PS Liwari Gate, Meerut, U.P. –Recovered one Maruti Zen car.
4. Aas Mohd. (receiver) age 28 yearsS/o. Mehboob R/o H.No. 97, Sotiganj, Meerut, U.P. –Recovered two Hyundai Santro car.
5. Nusrat age 30 years S/o Musharraf R/o Vill. Nanak Nangli, PS Kanth, Distt. Jyotiba Phule Nagar, U.P– Recovered one Scorpio car.
INCIDENTOn 09.09.08, two of the accused namely Nasir age 30 years S/o Fauzam R/o
Vill. Nanak Nangli, PS Kanth, Distt. Jyotiba Phule Nagar, U.P and Faiyyaz age 31 years S/o Nabi Hussain R/o Mohalla, Banphool Pura, Gali No. 8, Haldwani, Nainital, Uttaranchal were apprehended on a secret information while loitering suspiciously in the area of Pushp Vihar. During interrogation they disclosed that they are members of the infamous auto lifter Anil Chauhan Gang and were identifying the vehicles which could be stolen during the night. They further disclosed that they had been stealing vehicles from posh localities and selling it through their associates at Meerut, U.P. They also disclosed to their involvement in stealing the Maruti Esteem car from PS Malviya Nagar area reported vide FIR No. 588/08 u/s 379/34 IPC. Following the disclosure, the accused were arrested and taken on police remand.
TEAM & ARREST
A team under the supervision of Sh. K. S. Bhatnagar, ACP/Operation Cell, headed by Inspr. Vijay Singh Spl. Staff, South District, assisted by SI Surinder Dahiya, ASI Om Prakash and Staff was constituted to assist the investigation, arrest
the gang members and recover more stolen vehicles. Continuous raids were conducted in Delhi and U.P. at the possible hideouts of the accused/shops of the receivers of these stolen vehicles and they were arrested from different places in Delhi and Meerut. One Maruti Swift and one Maruti Alto cars were recovered from the possession of accused Nasir and Faiyyaz. One Maruti Zen car and two Santro cars were recovered from the possession of the accused Mursleen and Aas Mohd. who are receivers of the stolen vehicles. One stolen Scorpio car has been recovered from the possession of accused Nusrat.
DETAILS OF THE VEHICLES RECOVERED :
Further investigation is in progress and members of the police team are being suitably rewarded.

The South District police has solved the murder of Om Prakash S/o Khase Ram R/o Shop No.3, Gali No. 4, Shakti Vihar Mithapur, Badarpur, Delhi reported vide FIR No. 442/08 dated 14.09.2008 u/s 302 IPC PS Badarpur and arrested accused Ankur S/o Udai Pratap R/o 144, Gali No.3, Lakhpat Colony, Badarpur, Delhi.
INCIDENT:On 14.09.2008, at about 09.40 AM, a PCR Call was received at PS Badarpur
vide DD No. 12 A, regarding murder of a 65 year old male by strangulation inside his shop cum residence, identified as Om Prakash S/o Khase Ram R/o Shop No.3, Gali No. 4, Shakti Vihar Mithapur, Badarpur New Delhi. A case vide FIR No. 442/08 u/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Badarpur and investigation taken up.
INVESTIGATION:A team comprising of Inspr. R.C. Jain, Inspr Law & Order PS Badarpur, SI
Mukesh Kumar, HC Bhikambar, Cts. Mahesh, Harender and Bhagwan Singh, headed by Inspr. V. P. Dahiya, SHO/Badarpur under the supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, ACP/Sarita Vihar was constituted to apprehend the accused and work out the case. A thorough local inquiry was made and it came to the notice of the team members that the deceased was practising as a Vaid. He had been frequently visiting the house of one Udai Pratap and had close relation with his wife. Earlier even he was having food at their residence. Ankur, son of Udai Pratap had suspicion of illicit relation between the deceased with his mother and had objected to the relationship. Following the disclosure of the fact, accused was thoroughly interrogated and he disclosed to his involvement in the crime and he was arrested.
