Husbanding Support Provider (HSP) Fall 2014: PACFLT solicited DAU’s help to develop and
deploy 3 overarching classes that satisfy training requirements
for ship and shore personnel partly attributable to HSP corruption fallout.
Spring 2016: DAU met w/ OPNAV N41, PACFLT and NAVSUP to present two
part strategy to address issue that could also result in training solutions.
May 2016: OPNAV N41 assumed lead role for Navy and signed 1144 w/
$12K for survey/competency assessment (Opinio)
Dec 2016: DAU deployed HSP competency assessment to selected Navy
personnel
March 2017: DAU provided assessment results to OPNAV
OPNAV waiting Navy Health Assessment of HSP prior to making decision to
move from Phase 1 to Phase II
