� regularly performed various pastoral duties-(counseling, teaching, pastoral care, visitation, outreach, evangelism, discipleship, worship leadership, occasional preaching).

� provided oversight and pastoral leadership for the following three pastoral positions:

PASTOR FOR PARENTING AND FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP--2005-2013

� merged and unified children (0-6th grade) and youth ministry (Jr./Sr. High) into one department (Family Discipleship) under one vision and philosophy of ministry serving more than 2500 children/youth

� developed and implemented a biblical vision, philosophy of ministry and strategy for the discipleship of youth (Jr./Sr. High) and the equipping of their parents.

� provided leadership, oversight, management of 27 Family Discipleship staff ( 9 FT/ 4 PT pastors/directors, 6 FT / 8 PT support staff) and over 900 volunteers on three campuses.

� developed a vision, philosophy and strategy for integrating households into the discipleship and shepherding structures of the church.

discipleship of their children 0-6th grade.

� inspired and challenged the church with a biblical vision for the next generation while recruiting, training, and supporting staff and volunteers to partner with parents for the discipleship of their children.

� developed original resources for the discipleship of children in a way that was biblical and consistent with our vision and philosophy of ministry.

� restructured  all  children’s  programs  to  bring  them  in  line  with  vision  and  philosophy  of  ministry  including  Sunday School, midweek programs, nurseries, child dedication , youth baptism, and summer programs.

PASTOR FOR URBAN AND NEIGHBORHOOD MINISTRY—1986-1996

x developed, implemented, and promoted a vision and strategy for neighborhood outreach and evangelism

x mobilized, and provided pastoral support for church members/attenders living in target neighborhoods.
