Welcome to our latest collection of handcrafted jewellery, and an exquisite selection of Switzerland’s finest timepieces.

We wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some of the jewellery we are creating today. Beautifully designed to celebrate special moments in life, capture your memories, and tell your stories for generations to come.

As always, design remains central to our thinking. In fact, we are one of the very few British jewellery companies to design, manufacture and retail many of its own exclusive ranges. We feel we have something quite unique to offer - showrooms that hold a tempting selection of the best in modern jewellery design.

A brochure of this nature can only skim the surface of what we do. Our master goldsmiths remain on hand for those bespoke pieces, which meet the most personal requests. Naturally we are here to help you in any way that we can - a friendly reception will always await.

Lastly, we would like to thank all our colleagues for their continued commitment. We have come a long way since beginning life in a small Liverpool workshop and the journey continues…

Making memories, by hand There’s something magical about watching a goldsmith working with their hands, at their bench, hearing the gentle tapping of tiny hammers. It remains an intimate and captivating experience.

Only the very best goldsmiths operate in the workshops of David M Robinson, drawing on their experience and talent. We have a simple motivation: to make every piece to the exacting standards of a founder who has a passion for perfection.

Luxury is often about the invisible, the short cuts never taken, the insistence in using only the finest materials and allowing time to be part of the process. We sense an appetite for jewellery to be made in the right way with real care, and due respect for creativity.

We also set ten smaller diamonds, (almost hidden!) on the side of the setting to give extra interest and dimension. A new future classic.

Under our watchful eye We don’t actually make watches like we make jewellery, but our brand ambassadors and in-house watchmakers are nevertheless professionally trained and accredited by all the major world-renowned Swiss watch houses.

So with honesty and candour, we are certainly in a position to advise you on many of the ‘do’s’ (and the absolute don’ts’!) of choosing the right watch for you. Many of our sales ambassadors have attended intensive training courses here in the UK and in Geneva, to qualify as the ‘helpful experts’ demanded in our showrooms.

Naturally, you’ll want to keep your fine timepiece in pristine condition for your lifetime.

After all, it has to keep working, hour after hour, year after year, and if we have anything to do with it, decade after decade. We’re proud to say our care and attention doesn’t end when you leave our showroom. As with our experienced goldsmiths, our master watchmakers are on hand in our Liverpool and Manchester showrooms to facilitate everything from a full service to a much needed valet.

With even the most basic automatic calibres, having around 200 internal working parts, our watchmakers need to know them inside out, and they really do, on a daily basis, ‘see the unseen’. They remain as we all do, at your service.

Born in Liverpool, David’s early career began “on the bench” as an apprentice goldsmith before he opened his first small showroom on North John St in 1968. A two times winner of the DeBeers Diamonds International Award, David was awarded an Honoury Degree by Liverpool John Moores University in 2006.
