What I find interesting is that his parents abandoned him but he never went to an orphanage, he went to a painting studio.

he was not only a painter, he was a sculptor, architect, engineer, scientist, philosopher, and astronomer.

I CHOSE THIS PERSON BECAUSE I have read many books on him. we are both italian, and we are both great artists.

leonardo's parents weren't married and after he was born, his father remarried and left for the capitol. after that, his mother cared for him for six months and then also left, leaving him with his grandparents.

i would be sad because i can't imagine ever knowing my mother.

I read that leonardo took in a ten year old boy in milan who didn't have any parents. even though his name was giacomo, leonardo called him salai meaning "rascal."

i think that salai is like me because i'm a rascal.

leonardo liked experiments, but most always they didn't work. he has a strong mind because he did things his own way. For example, on one fresco he used coal fires to make the paint dry which worked on a small painting. But with a large fresco, it turned into a big mess.

i think that it's creative of him to try something different than what everyone else is doing.

I read that leonardo painted the last supper. it took him a really long time to do which is why he showed perseverance.

I like drawing and sometimes i can't get the one line right, but I keep doing it.

da vinci changed the way people saw the human body in paintings. Also he helped others to heal someone because he learned how the body worked by taking a dead body and cutting it open.

others were inspired by his notebooks that had inventions and anything else that seemed to come to his mind.

I'm A change maker when I take care of animals. every year i

volunteer for a week taking care of animals that don't

have homes.
