Para su elaboracin se aplica proceso estndar en los tres pases / To develop the Mexican portionof NADM map the same methodology is applied in three countries.
El diagnstico cubre todo el territorio nacional. / Depiction covers all the country.

DEBILIDADES /WEAKNESSES
La red de estaciones usadas es heterognea y bastante escasa (132 estaciones distribuidas en elpas). En la frontera norte este dficit de estaciones es todava mayor. / The climatic network isheterogeneous and pretty small. Across the northern board this deficit is bigger.
El monitor de sequa es una herramienta de diagnstico y como tal su uso es limitado para latoma de decisiones respecto a planeacin. / Drought monitor is a tool for analysis of presentconditions, so its use for make decisions and long term planning is limited.El pronstico climtico sirve para extrapolar condiciones de sequa pero no existe un producto queefecte pronsticos de sequa. / Climate forecast is used to foresee drought conditions, but itdoesnt exist a real drought forecast.
