Names of the Festival Spaces /Rooms/Courtyard & Garden & Their Significance in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan: Malika Jawahir Khatun locally known as Dadi Jawari was a 17-century female ruler of Gilgit, Pakistan. She is remembered as the first female ruler in male-dominated society and for her gift of irrigation system, included two canals for drinking water and agrarian purpose. She ruled Gilgit from 1630 till 1660.[1][2][3] Dadi also built roads in her dominion and undertook various welfare measures to ease the lives of her people.[6] "Malika Jawahir Khatun herself shouldered the responsibility of the government, put on male dress, rode on horse and issued instructions in her own name. She took great interest in ameliorating the lot of the people, undertook measures, built many roads in the country.." — Prof. Ahmad Hasan Dani[4] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dadi_Jawari

The 3 Bs -Biafo-Baltoro & Batura (Our Precious Glaciers): Baltoro Glacier: At 63 kilometers (39 miles) in length, Baltoro Glacier in Pakistan is one of the longest non-polar glaciers in the world. Those glaciers feed rivers that account for about 75 percent of the stored-water supply in the country of at least 225 million.

Deosai: The name came about from the folk tale immortalised by Mian Muhammad Baksh in his poem, "Saif al-Mulook"; the word 'Deosai' means 'the Shadow of the Giant': the word "Deo" being a contraction of 'Deva', and the word 'Sai' being one of 'Saya' i.e. 'Shadow'.Balti people call this place 'Ghbiarsa' referring to 'Summer's Place' because it is only accessible in summer.

The Deosai National Park is located in Astore District in Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Pakistan. It has an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level,[2] making the Deosai Plains the second highest plateau in the world after Changtang Tibetan Plateau.[3] The park protects an area of 843 square kilometres (325 sq mi). It is well known for its rich flora and fauna of the Karakoram-West Tibetan Plateau alpine steppe eco-region. In spring, it is covered by sweeps of wildflowers and a wide variety of butterflies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deosai_National_Park

Astore Valley: Ghāzī Mukhpun, a Persian adventurer, is said to have married a princess of the Skārdu reigning family. The four sons born of this union became Rās of Skārdu, Astor, Roundu, and Kharmang respectively, and from them are descended the families of the present chiefs of those places. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astore_Valley https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astore_District Fairy Meadows (Urdu: پریوں کا چراگاہ), named by German climbers(German Märchenwiese, “fairy tale meadows”([1][2] and locally known as Joot,[3] is a grassland near one of the base camp sites of the Nanga Parbat, located in Diamer District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.[4] At an altitude of about 3,300 metres (10,800 ft) above sea level, it serves as the launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rakhiot face of the Nanga Parbat.[4][5] In 1995, the Government of Pakistan declared Fairy Meadows a National Park https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_Meadows_National_Park

Ghizer is a crossroads between Gilgit and Chitral via Shandur Pass, and also to China and Tajikistan via the Broghil Pass through Ishkomen Valley. Ghizer was a multi-ethnic district and three major languages were spoken: Shina, Khowar, and Burushaski. There were also Wakhi speakers in Ishkoman and some Tajiks. The word Ghizer came from the name "Gherz" which means "refugees" in Khowar. "Gherz" is a village in Golaghmuli Valley, which is now known as Golaghmuli.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghizer_District_(1974%E2%80%932019) Nagar (Nager[2]) (Urdu: نگر ;Burushaski: نگر )is a former princely state and one of the ten districts of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.[3][4] The valley is along the Karakoram Highway on the way north from Gilgit main city. The valley is home to many high mountain peaks including Rakaposhi (7788m), Diran Peak (7265m), Golden Peak and Rush Peak. The Rush Lake, the highest alpine lake of Pakistan and the 27th highest lake in the world also lies in this valley. Nagar is known for its famous sites/villages of Shayar, Askurdas, Sumayar, Nagarkhas, Hoper Valley, and Hispar Chalt, Buladas, Chaprote, Skandarabad, Jafarabad, Nilt, Thol, Ghulmet, Pisan, Minapin, Meacher, Dadhimal, Phekar, and Hakuchar Burushaski and Shina languages are spoken in the valley.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagar_Valley Rakaposhi (Urdu: راکاپوشی / رکی پوشہ )is a mountain in the Karakoram mountain range in the Gilgit-Baltistan territory of Pakistan.[1] It is situated in the middle of the Bagrote valley, Nagar valley and danyor, approximately 100 km (62 mi) north of the city of Gilgit. Rakaposhi is also known as Dumani ("Mother of Mist" or "Mother of Clouds"). It is ranked 27th highest in the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakaposhi

Muhammad Ali Sadpara (Urdu: 2; محمد علی سدپارہ February1976 –February 2021)[1] was a Pakistani high-altitude mountaineer. He was part of the team (which included Italian alpinist Simone Moro) that successfully completed the first winter ascent to the summit of Nanga Parbat in 2016.[2] Sadpara successfully climbed a total of eight eight-thousanders throughout his career, four of which he had ascended in a single calendar year.[3] Sadpara, along with his 21-year-old son, Sajid (who had also climbed K2 in 2019), teamed up with Icelandic mountaineer John Snorri Sigurjónsson[4] and Chilean mountaineer Juan Pablo Mohr Prieto [es][5] for a joint-ascent of K2, and left the highest camp on the evening of 4 February 2021. They were declared missing on 5 February 2021.[7][8]

Samina Khayal Baig (Urdu: ثمینہ خیال بیگ ;born 19September 1990)[1] is a Pakistani high-altitude mountaineer who in 2013 climbed Mount Everest and then all Seven Summits by 2014. She is the first Pakistani woman to climb Everest and the Seven Summits. She is also the first and youngest Muslim woman to climb Mount Everest, having done so at the age of 21.[2][3][4] Samina was the first to climb the peak Chashkin Sar (above 6,000 meters) in Pakistan in 2010, which was later renamed Samina Peak after her.[5][6]

Baig comes from Shimshal village in Hunza Gojal, Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan, and was trained in mountaineering from the age of 15 by her brother, Mirza Ali.[3][4] She is a student of Arts and began climbing when she was merely four years old.[7] Besides the Himalayas, Baig has been employed as a mountain guide and expedition leader in the Hindu Kush and the peaks of Karakoram. Baig has been a professional climber since 2009.[3] Special Communications Organization (SCO), a telecom operator in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan has appointed her as its Brand Ambassador. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samina_Baig
