Today we visit Carlisle, Carlisle – the Border City – is the main shopping, commercial and industrial centre in the northern half of Cumbria, and a fair amount of southern Scotland. There will be amble time to see the city and all it has to offer including perhaps a visit to the cathedral castle or popular shopping centre. C

M&S Archive tour and Saltaire £13.50 Today we step back I time when we visit both the M&S Archives in Leeds and of course Saltaire. The M&S Ar-chive is a new attraction that houses in excess of 70,000 items dating back to 1884 to the present day, After our visit to Leeds we will move on to Saltaire and spend the remainder of the day exploring the village of Saltaire or perhaps perusing Salts mill. C

Knowsley Safari Park Including admission and safari drive £19.90

A perfect day out for the whole family. Upon arri-val at the safari park we will enjoy a 5 mile safari drive where there will be various types of animals in the closet thing to their natural habitats, before we stop and have some free time for lunch, to visit a show, to see some of the animals that aren’t a feature of the safari drive or perhaps spend some time on the fairground.C

Portmeirion £23.50 Portmeirion was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976. He wanted to show how a natu-rally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it. After lunch you will be transported to Froncysyllte where we will board the Thomas Telford canal boat for a two hour sailing on the Llangollen canal which will include a crossing of the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which was built by Thomas between 1795 and 1805.C

Whitby- Regatta £17.50 The Whitby Regatta 2016, presents you a day of entertainment, embracing yacht racing, rowing races and various free forms of entertainment One hundred and seventy six years of aquatic competition and entertainment. The Whitby Regatta is probably the oldest sea Regatta on the northeast coast and has drawn large crowds into Whitby over the years.

Wednesday 24th August Llanfair P.G and Beaumaris £13

Our first port of call will be to llanfairpwllgwyngyllgo-gerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Where there is a large Edinburgh Woollen Mill store with a restaurant. This store has a Hornby Plc , Portmeirion , Pavers Shoes , Yankee Candles , Roman Originals concessions in store in addition to the usual makes sold by EWM. In the afternoon we will take a short drive to Beaumaris where we will then spend the rest of the afternoon. Beau-maris is a beautiful town and is home to the castle, which is well worth a visit. C

Thursday 25th August Ormskirk Market & Bents Garden World £11

A half day visit to Ormskirk for the market. Ormskirk Market - one of the country's oldest and most traditional street markets With around 100 stalls, set in the pedestrianised area in the heart of the town around the famous Clock Tower. After lunch we will depart Ormskirk and make our way to Bents Garden Centre, Warrington where you will have a few hours to look around the centre. Bents Garden centre is renowned for it’s quality and is still owned by the founder’s family and offers personal touch to its customers. C

Hayes Garden World and Bowness upon Windermere £13

Hayes Garden World is the largest centre of its kind in the North of England and steeped in over 200 years of horticul-tural heritage. Hayes Garden world also hosts four seasons Terrace Café which Is a beautiful café which offers an extensive range of delicious homemade cuisine using local-ly sourced ingredients. After our morning visit here we will travel 11 miles to Bowness upon Windermere where you can enjoy all that this favourite destination in the Lakes has to offer. There will be plenty of time to take in a cruise on Lake Windermere which you can book at the Coach Park. C
