Project InformationSelect upper right ‘pencil’ iconPencil icon will show the ‘Project Details’
In this location, enter in all project, consultant, building information, and project data.
All of this information links to the cover sheet and project data sheet.

Constructs and Elements
In order to maintain consistency, Constructs and Elements have been pre-named.
Although, you will notice the naming/abbreviation conventions have not changed, it is encouraged that you always include the floor number.
To add the floor number, right-click the construct and rename it.

Plans have been not been populated, x-ref’s have been linked. The x-ref will change when you rename.
To ensure you have the correct plans x-ref’ed into your plan view, type x-ref and review.
Naming conventions coordinate with legends
Example: acp = architectural construction plan adlp = architectural demo lighting plan

The schedules have been x-ref’ed into the proper sheets

Sheets Updates:
30x42 and 24x36 sheet templates have been created
36x48 sheet template will be created soon
New ‘subsets’ can be made to add a space plan, test-fit or different sheet size.
To create a new subset right click the Project name and select ‘new subset’

The ACA2011 DBI template contains a PROFILE called “DBI”.
– To load this profile, type ‘Options’ in the Command line.

Do NOT change the profile name --- leave it as ‘DBI’, and select ‘Apply & Close’

Select the ‘Set Current’ button on the right.
You will notice that the menus and toolbars will change.
• If there are other profiles, highlight the other profiles one at a time and select ‘Delete’.
When this is completed, the dialog box should appear as below. Select ‘OK’.
