ORRHEAD CONVEYORPadill!, COllwyvrs lIlt'"~ Buffalv, N. Y.
Pacline track and chain conveying systems consistof a universal link conveyor chain inside a roundconveyor track. Flexibility enables conveyingthrough tight radius curves on both the horizontaland vertical plane. Loads can be transportedhanging or can be inverted to convey load-carryingtrays. C-250 series chain is designed for loads to50 lb per pendant, which are standard on 6-in.centers. Distributed loads to 30,000 lb can beconveyed on a 600-ft system with only one drive.Adding additional drives proportionally increasesconveyor length. Track sections are prefabricatedwith a joining flange at each end, simplifyinginstallation. On-site welding is unnecessary andrerouting changes can be made.

DC-DRIVE PROGRAMMABLE HOISTAutv Technolvgy Co., Strongsville. Ohio
The DC Series programmable hoist is designed toconsume less power and with fewer components toreplace than adjustable frequency AC-drivehoists. Routine maintenance is minimal becausethere are no inverter circuits or cables. Dynamicbraking and a holding brake eliminate brake andclutch maintenance. Microelectronic controls automate the unit for easier operation, and production is maximized by ramped acceleration anddeceleration for high-speed movement withoutrack swing.
