Current ISC-Choueifat students in SABIS ® Network schools who will be studying in regular classes in levels I to K starting the Academic Year 2018-2019 can now apply for Term 1 Study Abroad Program at Ashwicke Hall School, Bath, UK. In addition, ISC-Choueifat students who will be studying in regular classes in levels L to N starting the Academic Year 2018-2019 may apply for the Full Year Program (FYP). However, acceptance to the FYP is subject to your child’s choice of subjects, and possible full year student visa restrictions in the UK. If you are interested in the Full Year Program and you want more details, please contact either Caroline Stanley, AHS’s Admissions & Marketing Manager, [email protected], or Diane McCleary, AHS’s Admissions Officer, [email protected]. Ashwicke Hall School, Bath UK is a SABIS ® co-educational international boarding school situated on 148 acres of beautiful picturesque English countryside. Study Abroad Program students attending Ashwicke Hall School for Term 1 will follow the same SABIS ® curriculum as in ISC-Choueifat. Full Year Program students will be studying and preparing for external examinations in IGCSEs and the American Advanced Placement ® (AP) qualification. Students will have the opportunity to experience boarding as well as participating in weekly trips and activities on and off campus. Why choose Term 1 of “The Experience of a Lifetime” Study Abroad Program? Each term offers a different perspective to life and study in the UK. Term 1 covers the autumn and winter months with the opportunity to experience the changing seasons and take part in traditional English activities such as firework displays on Bonfire Night and trips to London to see the famous Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. In addition, Term 1 offers the opportunity of a longer stay in Ashwicke Hall School as students have the option to stay for the first two weeks of Term 2 without additional boarding and tuition fees, which extends their stay to 15 weeks, and they will rejoin Term 2 at ISC-Choueifat after the winter break holiday. Benefits of SAP T1: Students transition easier to this higher level because of the additional support offered to boarders. Students learn independence, self-reliance, new cultural experiences, expanded awareness, and return better prepared to finish the academic year at their home school. SAP T1 tuition fees are the most discounted of the 3 terms (35% off UK tuition fees). If you already have paid your first installment fees for the next academic year to ISC-Choueifat, you can either have this first installment deferred to be the 2nd installment payment, or you can pay the difference between ISC-Choueifat Term 1 fees and SAP fees. Please contact your school accounting department to find out the balance that you need to pay. If you have not settled the first installment fees for the Academic Year 2018-2019, you have the option to pay all of Ashwicke Hall School fees (mentioned on page 1) directly to Ashwicke Hall School’s accounts department, or through your local school accounts department, without having to pay the first installment to ISC-Choueifat. However, should you choose to pay directly the full Term 1 Study Abroad Program fees to Ashwicke Hall School, you must submit a copy of the proof of payment from Ashwicke Hall School to your school’s accounts department in order for ISC-Choueifat to secure your child’s place when your child returns home from the Study Abroad Program to resume Term 2 at ISC-Choueifat. Application Process Apply online: https://ashwickehallschool.sabis.net/application-form-study-abroad-programme

You will need to submit a recent photograph and a copy of your child’s passport with your application.

Ashwicke Hall School will send you an acceptance letter with an invoice as soon as your application is

processed.

Places will be confirmed when the invoice is settled either with your local school accountant or

directly to Ashwicke Hall School bank account.

Once the full invoice is settled, the Ashwicke Hall School’s student acceptance letter can be used as a

support document for the visa application along with the paid invoice receipt.

Apply by 30th June at the latest to allow time to process the visa if one is required.
