Bright green and medium-shade heather grey polo shirts must be purchased through Image Builders. You may purchase the other uniform pieces from a vendor of your choice; however, Image Builders also sells these items. Please see the attached brochure for product information. Ordering Options

1) Order online by visiting our school website. The online order store will be accessible under the tab “Beyond the Classroom”, then go to “Dress Code/Uniforms”. Credit card only. OR

2) Place your order over the phone with Image Builders Marketing Customer Service by calling 855-654-6243 M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST. Credit card or money order.

Shipping Options New for the 2019-2020 school year, we are offering FREE SHIPPING TO YOUR SCHOOL YEAR-ROUND! At check-out, you will have the following options:

1) Ship to School – Free Shipping Orders will ship the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month and will be available for pick-up at the school 3 business days after shipping (day may vary based on school closing due to snow day, holiday, etc.). Orders must be received by Wednesday at 8 a.m. to be included in the Friday shipment. OR

2) Ship to Home – Shipping Fees Will Apply Orders will arrive within 7-10 business days. You will be charged shipping for this option.

Parental Partnership: Dress Code To reduce distraction and competition, Peak Charter Academy has a simple, flexible, cost-effective dress code that promotes student learning and preserves academic instruction time. Interpretation of the dress code is at the discretion of the principal, deans and staff, who will grant final approval. Personal Hygiene The personal grooming of students should align with the standards set by the dress code. Students, and their clothing, should be clean and neat whenever they are on campus. Student Expectations Students are required to abide by the following:

• For grades K-5, shirts must be a short- or long-sleeve bright green polo. A bright green polo purchased only through Image Builders is encouraged. Please contact the Image Builders toll-free customer service hotline at (855) 654-6243. A customer service representative will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday – Eastern Standard Time or go to the school website for more information. Students may also wear a plain white short- or long-sleeve polo purchased at store of their choice in lieu of wearing the Image Builders bright green polo.

• For grades 6-8, shirts must be a long or short-sleeve medium-shade heather grey polo shirt. A medium-shade heather grey polo purchased only through Image Builders or French Toast is encouraged. Please contact the Image Builders toll-free customer service hotline at (855) 654-6243. A customer service representative will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday – Eastern Standard Time or visit the school website for more information. You may contact French Toast at FrenchToast.com or (800) 373-6248.

• Uniform tops and bottoms must fit appropriately (not tight, baggy, saggy, or revealing), and the bottom hem of shorts, skirts or jumpers must rest at least 1” past the end of the student’s fingertips when their arms hang loosely at their sides. Students must wear white or navy “playground shorts” under any jumper or skirt.

• All students (K-8) must wear navy blue dress or chino-style shorts, skorts, skirts, pants or jumpers. Bottoms may not have patterns or embellishments. No carpenter, corduroy, cargo, Capri, denim or athletic styles may be worn.

• Closed-toed, and close-backed, shoes must be worn at all time. Sneakers, loafers, dress shoes and leather boat shoes may be worn as long as they do not blink, light up, make noise, include any built-in toys or games, or have any wheels or slides built in. Boots should not be worn to school and, for the safety of our students, the heel height of any shoes should not exceed 2”. All shoes must be worn appropriately (i.e., laced and/or strapped, as designed). Lace-up athletic shoes, with non-marking soles, should always be worn when students have P.E. class.

• Socks and tights must be solid black, grey, brown, navy or white. Patterned socks and leggings may not be worn.

• Approved indoor attire may include light jackets, fleece jackets, sweaters or vests that are solid navy in color and are free of any designs or writing. Small manufacturer logos that are 2 inches or less in diameter are approved.

• Outerwear such as winter, rain or heavy jackets, hats, mittens, scarves, and rain or snow boots should be worn as outerwear only and may not be worn in the classrooms.

• Shirts must be tucked neatly into bottoms at all times.

• Undershirts (worn under uniform tops) must be white, with no visible logos or writing. Undershirts must be tucked in to the bottoms, along with the uniform top, and long-sleeved undershirts may not be worn with short-sleeved uniform tops.

• A solid-color black, navy blue, or brown belt, with no designs or embellishments, must be worn with all pants and shorts. Belt loops may not be removed to avoid wearing belts.

• Tattoos or writing on skin may not be displayed at school.

• Hats should not be worn at school, unless they are cold weather hats, which may be worn outside only. No hooded sweatshirts or jackets should be worn indoors.

• Dark glasses should not be worn indoors.

• Students may wear one stud earring in each ear, and the studs need to be ¼ of an inch in diameter, or less. Students should limit other jewelry worn at school. No jewelry should be worn in any other piercing.

• Only natural nails with pale color nail painting may be worn at school. Nails may not be embellished in any way, beyond a single pale paint color.

• Students' hair must be kept neat and clean, and should not obstruct their vision during class.

• Gang or offensive paraphernalia, signs, or symbols may not be displayed at school. The school administration reserves the right to the final approval of dress code attire.
