October 14, 2016 Dear Saint Paul School Families, Thank you to Mrs. Jean Schnorr and all of the volunteers and runners that supported the Saint Paul 5K and Fun Run on Monday. The event brought in close to $10,000 for our school. Congratulations to all of the runners! First Place Winner was former SPS student, Joe Resca ! First Place SPS Boy: Patrick Lynch, Grade 7 First Place SPS Girl: Bela Taylor, Grade 7 Teachers have been discussing the term RIGOR and what it means to them and Saint Paul School. Characteristics of rigor are high expectations, providing support and demonstrating learning. What it is not, is lots of homework, doing more, or having more resources. Next week, look for some definitions from our faculty in the newsletter. Admission season for the 2017-2018 school year is upon us. We will hold our first Open House on Tuesday, October 18 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Parents and students are our greatest recruiters. If you know of someone interested in attending SPS please let us know. Sincerely, Ms. Lisa M. Fasano Principal
