2018 was an eventful year. We both look back and look forward. This newsletter is devoted to: an existing

cooperation that since recently now sells solvatic products via its webshop, product innovations from the

DECORATIVE business segment, trade fair presentations in 2019, as well as projects in which we have been

engaged for many years. Before we proceed, however, we would like to extend to you our best wishes for

the Christmas period and next year – as shown below:

trading. One of them is Farben Morscher, whom we would therefore like to introduce to you in more detail.

What unites Farben Morscher and novatic® is more than just a simple customer-supplier relationship: quality

is at the heart of their activities. Product and service quality are the optimal basis for our joint, successful

collaboration.

Since the middle of November, our selected products have also been available at shop.farbenmorscher.at.

With our solvatic products, Farben Morscher serves the demanding professional.

Farben Morscher is also a family-owned company. With its 170 employees at 19 locations and a

comprehensive field-service team, it operates the market in Austria. The online shop is a further sales

Universaldicht novatic® Halle

As the name suggests: Universaldicht is a versatile product that repairs porous areas. It possesses strong

adhesion properties on virtually all surfaces – wood, zinc, aluminium, steel, stone, tiles, concrete, masonry,

fibre cement, glass, PVC, polyester, foils, roofing felt, etc. This makes it ideally suited for sealing, protection

and repair of floors, cellars, terraces, balconied, walls, roofs, chimney bases, gutters, seams, joints, cracks,

connectors, pipework couplings and junctions of structural components. The product is also impressive in

wet areas, such as piping transitions, joint sealings, door frame sealing, etc.

The environmentally plastic dispersion with high-quality, sustainably produced rubber flour is easy to apply,

spreadable and sprayable. It creates a hard, walkable coating when fully dry.

Dresdner Wirtschaftsjunioren novatic® Dresden The region connects. We gladly commit ourselves to the issues concerning our homeland. We have been

connected to the Dresdner Wirtschaftsjunioren (Dresden Economic Juniors Association) for many years. This

Dresden association bundles 65 companies from all sectors of the economy – and we are also involved. The

association pursues the goal of helping to shape the urban economy and working together with the other

regional and district associations to make a difference at the national level and maintain competitiveness.

The Advent dinner held on 3rd December 2018 in the Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Hotel was used to draw

a résumé of the year and toast new plans for the coming year.

Trade fair perspective: KarriereStart and FAF novatic®-Group

In 2019 we are again participating in trade fairs – starting with the KarriereStart trade fair, which is taking

place from 18th - 20th January 2019. Our apprentices and personnel managers are presenting our training

professions under the umbrella of the Saxony Educational Society for Environmental Protection and Chemical

Vocations Dresden (SBG). By performing experiments, potential trainees can test themselves and find out

whether they can imagine working in a chemical company that manufactures coating materials for a wide

range of applicational uses. You can find us in the Messe Dresden in Halle 1 at Stand H 5.

The FAF, the European Trade Fair for Façade Design & Interior Architecture, is taking place from 20th - 23rd

March 2019, this time in Cologne. It is the leading trade fair in this sector. It is the most important date of the

year for painters, varnishers and plasterers. The exhibitors address the themes of paint, finishing, façade,

building protection, plaster, stucco and dry construction. We will again be there with our DECORATIVE

business segment to answer all issues relating to construction. In addition to commercial lacquers, we will

also be presenting our primers, wood stains, wood coatings as well as emulsion paints. You will find us in Hall

7 at Stand 7.311, where we would be delighted to advise you on your projects.

Christmas party novatic® Dresden

Setting foot once on the sacred ice rink of the Dresden Eislöwen ice-hockey team – this we were permitted

to do at the end of November at our Christmas party. The staff had a lot of fun ice skating and playing curling.

We were also able to tour the EnergieVerbund-Arena. Finally, the event came to a harmonious end over food

and drinks. We have therefore charged up our batteries to get off to a spirited start in the new year.

Remaining sporty novatic® Dresden

The kids of the football division of the Sportfreunde 01 Dresden-Nord club are happy to receive new jerseys.

The little footballers received the warming outer garments at the beginning of October – namely (actually)

just in time for the onset of the cold season. The club’s emblem and the logo of the sportswear supplier are

depicted on the chest. Our logo is displayed large-scale on the back of the jerseys. The juniors are thus well

equipped again to tackle new challenges head-on. We wish them all the best und are impressed by the

sporting ambition of the youngsters. Keep it up, boys!

Schwedenwachs novatic® Halle

Schwedenwachs is also a product innovation in our product range. It is a highly weatherproof wood wax

product both for exteriors and hard-wearing wood finishing indoors: wooden components such as cladding,

panels, garden furniture, balconies, casings, etc. It forms a protective and decorative weatherproof layer. A

visible pearling effect is obtained after applying the product. Furthermore, it is also diffusible, contains no

chemical wood preservatives and is dilutable with water. The ready-for-painting wood glaze is quick-drying

and low in odour. Due to its thixotropic property, it is also suitable for overhead painting work.

Schwedenwachs is available in pure white, teak, natural wood, falu red, frisian blue, silver-grey, titanium,

slate and spruce green colours as 750 ml and 2.5 l cans.
