will be removed in March due to construction.
The University is fortunate to have a rich history of researchand experimentation that resulted in many interesting andexotic, aridadapted plants on our campus. Those plantsthat have stood the test of time are considered provenwinners for our climate they include coldhardy, heat anddroughttolerant plants. Laurus azorica (Azores Laurel tree)is one such gem.
