Skin Disease at WorkProvision of an appropriate skin care regime in industry can help to reduce incidents of work related skin disorders such as dermatitis and skin cancer. During 2010-2012, 122 new diagnoses of skin disease were made each year per 100,000 workers. This equates to around 35,000 new diagnoses of occupational skin disease each year.

1,487 new diagnoses were made by dermatologists during 2012. Of these:• 76% were contact dermatitis• 21% were skin cancers
