Dear Lyrique Music Studio Students and Family,
I hope everyone is having a lovely time this Christmas. I would like to dedicate this recital weekend to someone very dear to me. Adrienne Ocfemia, the daughter of some of my closest friends, has been battling cancer this year. She was eighteen months old when she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma this summer 2012, and her most important stage of chemotherapy had begun just this past Friday. In this period, she will have to remain in the hospital for 3-4 weeks without visitation and would have to spend the Christmas holidays there.
Please keep Adrienne and her family in your prayers. If anyone would like to extend any form of assistance for her and her family, please contact me so that can be arranged. For every $15 donated, I am glad to personally give you a neuroblastoma cancer awareness pin in honor of Adrienne. This is not an official fundraiser but simply a present we can give a deserving child this Christmas.
