This is the last week of school before Christmas break. Christmas break begins with early dismissal on Wednesday, December 20, at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday will be a Mass day so students must wear full dress uniform.

“Las Posadas” Las Posadas is an Hispanic tradition reenacting Mary and Joseph in their
search of shelter as they prepare for the birth of Jesus. This evening event will be filled with singing by Immaculate Conception’s Religious Education Students. Many traditional Mexican food dishes will be available for purchase. This event, on Thursday, December 21, will begin in front of Immaculate Conception Church at 5:30 p.m. The procession journeys through nine stations representing the nine months that Mary carried Jesus. Musicians will be singing traditional Christmas hymns as they accompany Mary and Joseph as they make there way to Bethlehem. The final station, where Mary and Joseph are given shelter, ends in Saint Ann’s hall with the placing of the baby Jesus in the manger. For more information, call Deacon Chavez at 580-1613.
