environment for your child. Lamb of God’s Open

Arms is a non-profit, faith based, early childhood

center dedicated to providing the highest quality of

care for your children. We provide care for children

from age six weeks to VPK during the school day

and through grade five for afterschool.

Lamb of God’s Open Arms Early Childhood

Center is nestled on a lush 18 acre campus behind the

small fire station off of Lithia Pinecrest Road. We are

located 1.9 miles EAST of the corner of Lithia

Pinecrest Road and FishHawk Blvd. Our Early

Childhood Center building is a 16,000 square foot

Spanish mission style facility with a stunning bell

tower and full service cafeteria. We have a state of

the art monitored security system with a camera in

each classroom and key cards that must be used to

gain access to the facility.

Our environment is designed especially for

children. The Early Childhood Center features

toddler sized toilets and sinks for successful potty

training and easy clean-ups. A unique feature, one of

the children’s favorites at Lamb of God’s Open

Arms, is the “Center Connection”. This is a large

room with learning centers and activities that our

children between 2 ½ and 5 years old get to experi-

ence every day. Our centers include: Arts and crafts,

Science, Music, Building Materials, Dramatic play

and a Library complete with puppets and a theater.

The infants and toddlers have their own covered

play area equipped with balls, toys and climbing

equipment, so even our youngest children have

plenty of time to explore and learn outside. The older

children have appropriate outdoor play areas with

grassy areas to run and play, soft rubber mulch to

provide a cushion in areas designed for climbing and

sliding, and a sidewalk where children can use riding

toys. Grade school children also need safe, age

appropriate care before and after school and during

the summer school break. We provide transportation

to and from local elementary schools.

We use challenging, faith based, and academic

curriculums. We are VPK Certified. Nine out of our

fourteen teachers have a bachelor’s degree. We are

currently in the process of acquiring our National

Lutheran School accreditation. 28% of our parents

are educators themselves and because of this we offer

an extremely flexible teacher addendum to our

attendance policy. Our child/teacher ratios are always

well below the state ratios because we know it is best

for our children. We value each child as a unique and

special child of God. We are Christians serving at

Lamb of God out of a desire to nurture, teach and

share God’s love.
