She is an established author, famous for writing many Frederick Warne Flower Fairies titles, as well as books for the BBC, Puffin and Scholastic. She now lives in Hampshire with her husband and daughter. Deborah Van de Leijgraaf is a published illustrator of children's books. In 2002 she received her honours degree at the the Willem de Kooning Art Academy at Rotterdam. Since then she illustrates commissioned for magazines and books for both Dutch and international publishers.
