Summary Compared to neighboring real estate markets investment in Redondo Beach residential property was busy in December as total sales improved 13.4%, median sales price increased 2.3%, median days to sell dropped 67.4%, and the sales-listing ratio jumped 35.4%. Net listings, however, did fall 16.5% month-over-month. Year-over-year months of inventory data point doubled from December 2015 to 2016.
In December, C.A.R. reported ““Demand for homes continued to outstrip supply, causing the Unsold Inventory Index to decline to 3.1 months in November from 4.2 months in November 2015.” http://www.car.org/newsstand/newsreleases/2016releases/nov2016sales?view=Standard
