PSA KIDS NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

PSA Kids (children 4th—8th grade) are having

a Greenwich Mean Time New Year’s Eve Party

in the gym on Dec. 31, from 6:30 –8:30 pm.

We will have games, a short lesson, snacks,

and hopefully get to stream the first ball drop

of 2016, at 8 pm, on the big screen!

Beverages will be provided, but kids are asked to bring a

snack to share. We are going to have a blast and hope you

WOMEN’S FAITH RETREAT

Ladies, are you ready to recuperate from the holidays? This

is just the thing for you! We will spend Friday night at the

Cove Ridge Center at the Natural Tunnel State Park in

Duffield, VA, on Jan. 8-9 We will eat, play, laugh and worship

together. The lodge will sleep 30 people, and price will be

determined by the number of ladies that go. If cost is a

problem, please don’t hesitate to sign up (the maximum will

be $30, but hopefully the cost will be less that). We want all

interested ladies to join in. If you want to come up just for

the evening, please come! If you are interested, call

FLOWERS: The flowers in the sanctuary today are given to the glory of God by Will and Ramona Wise CHURCH OFFICE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: The church office will be closed Friday, January 1, for New Year’s Day.

WEDNESDAY SIMPLE SUPPERS: We are considering offering a Wednesday evening meal beginning in January and wanted to see how much interest there would be. The meals will be simple, but tasty. If this is something you would be interested in, please call Gretchen Bentley at 677-0768, or email me at children@chpres.org. If we determine there is enough interest, we will communicate more information at a later date.

MARTHA CIRCLE: Martha Circle will meet in the Parlor at 10:00 am, on Tuesday,

January 5. We will have our regular meeting and Bible Study. June Hite and Ada

Newman will be our hostess.

ELDER TRAINING: There will be no Elder Training on Monday, December 28.

Classes will resume on Monday, January 4.

SENIOR ADULT BIBLE STUDY: We will not meet on Wednesday, December 30. Class

will resume on Wednesday, January 6, at 4:00 pm

THANK YOU: Thank you to all my dear friends for your cards, prayers and caring

upon the death of my brother, Jerry. You all have lifted me up during a tough year

and I love you for it. Tiny Tim had it right: “God bless us, everyone!”
