Welcome to our 3rd annual female sale. Thank you for taking the time to evaluate our offering, we believe there is something for everyone. The open heifer division features females that will be competitive at any show in the country. Championship blood flows through them, as 7 of the 8 are sired by National Champions. The remaining heifer’s sire has two National Champion maternal brothers. More importantly, these females come from either proven donor dams or some of the most productive up and coming females in our herd. When their time in the limelight is over these heifers should make outstanding cows. This year’s set of bred heifers is the best we’ve offered yet. They are daughters of top producing females in our herd and some the most heavily used AI sires in the country. As a bonus, they are bred to one of the hottest calving ease sires in the breed LT Long Distance 9001. The bred cow group is from the heart of our herd. These productive females have passed every test. They breed back quickly and raise marketable offspring. Being bred to the multiple trait leader New Standard offers considerable earning potential for the purchaser. At Wright Charolais we strive to raise functional cattle that work in all aspects of the cattle industry. She sold in the 2011 Sonderup Female Sale and no less than seven breeders left on order bids with this sale manager in the $5,000 range and two more breeders wanted to be on the phone.
