Final Examinations
Finals Edition
Eat food that will provide you with energy to study (avoid excess sugar).
Keep a positive attitude, it is easier to study when you are relaxed than when you are stressed out.
Study from past tests, review questions, homework, and review sheets.
Study in a quiet environment where you can get work done and have less distractions.
Focus on studying the main ideas and key formulas.
Choose what you want to study and don’t try to learn everything right before the exam. Focus on studying the concepts that will get you the most points on the exam.
Take at least one five minute break for every hour, so that you can relax your brain.
Read the chapter summaries and/or skim through the text and highlight main ideas to review.
Remember to get enough sleep the night before an exam, you need a refreshed and alert mind to take a final.
