THE LORD’S SUPPER

Here our Lord gives to us His own Body and Blood

for the forgiveness of all our sins

Our Grace Family celebrates The Lord’s Supper on the 1st and 3rd Sundays

of the month, confessing that our Lord feeds us with His very body and

blood for our forgiveness.

Please read carefully:

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at Grace in the confession and glad confidence

that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but

His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to

strengthen our union with Him and one another.

Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin, and

set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us, that

they may show forth His death until He comes.

Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do

so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the

faith which is confessed at the Altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt

or who hold a confession differing from that of Grace and The Lutheran

Church - Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the Sacrament, are

asked first to speak with the Pastor or an Elder.

SANCTUARY BIBLE STUDY

The Book of Revelation - We will revisit the last book of the Bible, Revelation, from last spring. Nothing further would be by God until the second coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation is the culmination of the entire story of salvation contained in the Bible. It draws all of revelation to its final goal: the exalted reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords and the fulfillment of the promise of the new heaven and earth. You are invited to join us on Sunday morning, as we explore the who, what, where, when and why of God’s Word to us in the book of Revelation.

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDYS

GRACELAND

Come and join in the fun and learn about Jesus in this inter-generational study where kids are with kids in their own age group along with Table Teachers. It’s a great time for all! Parents do not have to be in attendance for your children to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you there.

TUESDAY MORNING LIFELIGHT

Is studying the Gospel of Mark. In Mark, the shortest of the gospels,

moves at a rapid pace as St. Mark presents Jesus as servant, primarily to a Gentile audience. Please join us in this nine-week study, beginning at 9:30

each Tuesday morning. Books are available for pickup in the office. Tuesday, December 11, will be our last study for the Christmas Season and

we will resume on: Tuesday, January 8.

56er’s - Calling all 5th & 6th graders

Do you want to have fun? Enjoy some food, play some games, make some new friends and learn about God’s plan for you? Then Grace 56er’s is the place for you.

Grace 56er’s is a new youth group focused solely on 5th & 6th graders. We meet the first & third Thursday of the month, in the Family Life Center, (aka “the gym”). Please feel free to bring a friend (or friends). We are excited to see you there!
