Worthy of Note The December Hat is worked in the round from the brim up.

A tubular cast on is followed by 2 x 2 ribbing that transitions into thick cable panels for the body. Integrated decreased shape the crown. A pom pom and cute custom KW tag completes the look.

If you would prefer not to work the tubular cast on, work the cast on as follows, then move ahead to “Brim”: Using smaller ndls and long tail cast on, CO 100 sts. Join for working in the rnd, being careful not to twist sts. PM indicating beg of rnd.

The chart is worked 5 times around. When working the crown decreases, change to double pointed needles when the circumference is too small to fit onto the circulars.
