Decentralized digital mixing console with local inputs and outputs

Networked personal monitor mixer for each musician

Up to 8 myMix with up to 16 channels of audio on each myMix

Control channel volume, tone, effect amount and pan

Designed for ease of use with simple name based operation

myMix units “talk” to each other over standard fast Ethernet switches utilizing the new AVB protocol

Multi-track recorder – up to 18 tracks on SD card (16 + stereo mix)

Ships with power supply and 5/8” metal microphone stand adapter

Universal Truth : Musicians rarely hear the music the way they want to hear it.

Page 4: Decentralized digital mixing console with local inputs and outputs

Every musician hears the band in their own

unique way

There is no good or bad, it is purely subjective

Virtually every musician dreams of being in control of his own mix

Page 5: Decentralized digital mixing console with local inputs and outputs

Mixing monitors is a thankless job, and is a major source of stress between musicians and engineers.

Record up to 18 tracks of 24bit, 48kHz time stamped broadcast .WAV audio on each myMix to SD or SDHC cards

Multi-track audio is tapped directly after the preamps on each unit

Channels 17 & 18 = YOUR stereo mix

Remix the multi-track session on your myMixWhen disconnected from the network you can play back recorded tracks from the SD card

myMix allows you to remix the recorded multi-track audio and recreates the channel names from the original session

This is a great way to demonstrate the mixing capabilities of myMix with only one unit

NETWORKINGWhat kind of Ethernet switch do I need?

• Any standard 100Mbs fast Ethernet switch will work• Gigabit switches are not required for myMix

How can I power myMix with a POE switch?

• Each myMix requires a POE device that can provide 15.4 watts to each unit AT THE SAME TIME

• Don’t be misled by POE switches that say “up to 15.4 watts per port”

• Be cautious with “managed” switches

What is AVB?

• Audio Video Bridging (aka Ethernet AV) reserves more bandwidth on an Ethernet network for audio and video

• Very low latency, open source, destined to become THE networking standard for the AV industry

MOVEK recommends power injectors

Power injectors work in conjunction with a standard switch.

These come in a couple of varieties – multi-port injectors such as the Lan-Power LP2401-08 provide 18 watts on eight ports at the same time

The second variety is a single power injector such as the 3COM 3CNJPSE.

Power injectors like these will work with 100Mbs, Gigabit and upcoming AVB switches – ideal for future switch upgrades without the need to buy a costly POE version.
