Mr. Livingston,

While I will admit that a fair amount of time has passed since our last correspondence, I

have remained ever diligent in striving toward our most noble goal. Indeed, I would even venture

to say that light can now be seen at the end of the tunnel.

Make no mistake, while I understand that your organizations views toward the Vanduul are

more sympathetic than most, I do not share your idealistic perspective. What I do, I do for the

good of Humanity, even if my methods might be seen by some as treasonous. In fact, the state of

colonial affairs is on the cusp of completely turning around in Humanitys favor - in ourfavor.

While you have yet to reveal your personal motivations for assisting with the fall of the

Orion system, I know that you are a shrewd man. You have undoubtedly come to realize the

inevitability and justice of this cause. And so, I urge you to reconsider your consort with these

aliens, consider instead Humanity's future, and give thought to how you shall weather the coming

storms. Indeed, the influences you have cultivated with the Vanduul present an opportunity to

reassert your loyalties to your own kind.

Mr. Livingston, I plead with you to renounce your alliance with the Vanduul and rejoin the

cause of Humankind. While you are correct about our current militarys woeful lack of strength

and purpose, our combined efforts to ensure the fall of the Armitage colony will only serve to

reshape humanity's future for the better.

When the Vanduul devastate the remnants of the UEE fleet in the Orion system, a wave of

panic will spread throughout the rest of Human space. Shock will turn into fear, fear will birth

outrage, and outrage will bring about a call to action. Our decrepit and resource-starved fleets

will receive much needed finances, as well as a fresh supply of patriotic recruits. A

reinvigorated war against the Vanduul will rally our core worlds and bring solidarity to our

colonies, ensuring absolute military superiority over all our enemies.

Past circumstances might have seemed dire, but I can finally say with absolute confidence

that a massacre at Armitage will be the crucible to reforging Humanitysmanifest destiny of

stellar dominion. The clear and present danger from the Vanduul menace will resonate in the

hearts of all Human worlds, and will light the fires of a new, better, and brighter era.

Regardless, I look forward to the culmination of our joint efforts together. You have been

steadfast and reliable, and I owe you much, my friend.
