The Director of the Preschool Program and the Head Teacher work together to create an environment that promotes the development of forward-thinking children through comprehensive, research-based and research-proven curriculum resources. We offer developmentally-appropriate programs that support active learning and promote children’s progress in all developmental areas.

Our philosophy includes the following key elements:

Caring, Enriching Environment. We provide a safe place to learn and grow. Children build ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, through participation in life-enhancing programs, to enable them to reach their full potential.

Experienced Teachers. Our highly-trained teachers promote an open, comfortable learning environment that allows children to explore and progress at their own pace. Staff is trained in CPR and First Aid.

Education. We offer developmentally-appropriate curriculum designed to enable our young students to develop their language and literacy skills, problem solving skills in mathematics and science.

Open Communication with Parents. Communication between staff and parents is vital to building a working relationship. Involvement by parents is always encouraged. We have an open door policy.

Curriculum. The preschool curriculum is designed to enhance students’ social and emotional development as they prepare to enter Kindergarten. It is based on specialized educational materials from Creative Curriculum, educational pieces from Montessori, and B.F. Skinner’s writings on positive reinforcement.

Our seasonal curriculums allows for diverse learning programs including art, science, cooking, computers and music. It helps students develop their gross and fine motor skills as well as participate in various sport activities using our full-size gym, dance studio and multipurpose room.
