Job Outlook Employment of human resources specialists is expected to grow 21 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than

the average for all occupations. Job opportunities should be good overall, especially in the employment

services industry.

Human resources managers oversee specialists and other employees in large corporations or represent the

entire human resources department in a small firm. Professionals with additional business experience,

such as career changers, can secure an entry-level management position in human resources. Although

human resources managers earned an average annual salary of $99,180 in May 2010, entry-level mangers

earned approximately $61,560 annually during the same period.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics National Employment Matrix, employment for human

resources, training, and labor relations specialists is expected to grow at a rate of 24 percent through 2018.

Description: Our client is seeking a Labor Relations Representative for their Dearborn, Michigan (MI) location. This is a contract position. Position Description:

Facilitate positive relations with our unionized workforce

Daily responsibilities include the investigation, resolution and disposition of grievances and the preparation of cases for arbitration

Additional duties involve contract administration and participation in bargaining unit negotiations

Interact with operations and union to resolve interpretation issues of the collective bargaining agreement

Investigate agency complaints related to the unionized workforce

Follow all company policies

All other duties as assigned

Requirements: Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations or a related field and relevant labor relations experience Experience in the industrial manufacturing or production industry is preferred
